1. Supplier Code of Conduct & Business Ethics

PPK adheres to zero-tolerance policies regarding bribery, extortion, embezzlement, and corruption. We conduct all business transactions with complete transparency, maintaining accurate books and records in compliance with applicable international commercial laws.

• Anti-Bribery & Anti-Corruption: Strict prohibition of improper payments, gifts, hospitality, or advantages offered to or accepted from business partners, officials, or third parties.
• Fair Competition: Full compliance with antitrust and fair competition laws across all jurisdictions of operation.
• Confidentiality & Intellectual Property Protection: Dedicated legal protocols to safeguard client trade secrets, secret formulations, and proprietary packaging CAD geometries under mutual non-disclosure agreements (NDAs). We have retained Shanghai Kelu Patent Agency for active patent portfolio administration.

2. Human Rights, Labor Standards & Modern Slavery Statement

In compliance with the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015, the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act, and the EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD), PPK unequivocally prohibits all forms of human trafficking, forced labor, indentured servitude, and child labor throughout our facilities and upstream raw material supply chain.

• Prohibition of Child Labor: Verifiable age verification prior to employment; minimum employment age strictly adheres to international standards and national legislation.
• Freely Chosen Employment: Zero retention of worker identification documents, passports, or recruitment fees. All overtime work is strictly voluntary and compensated in full compliance with statutory premium rates.
• Fair Compensation & Working Hours: Lawful minimum wage compliance, regular wage payment cycles, and statutory limits on weekly working hours with guaranteed rest days.
• Non-Discrimination & Equal Opportunity: Zero tolerance for harassment or discrimination based on gender, ethnicity, religion, age, disability, or social background.

3. Social Accountability & Sedex SMETA Audits

PPK facilities undergo periodic on-site social compliance audits conducted by independent, accredited third-party auditing firms (such as SGS, Intertek, or Bureau Veritas).

• Sedex SMETA 4-Pillar Audits: Evaluates PPK on Labor Standards, Health & Safety, Environmental Performance, and Business Ethics. Our SMETA audit reports are accessible to authorized brand sourcing teams via the Sedex platform.
• Ecovadis Sustainability Alignment: PPK aligns internal ESG governance with the Ecovadis CSR methodology, tracking operational metrics across energy efficiency, raw material circularity, worker safety, and ethical procurement.

4. Chemical Safety, PFAS-Free & Food-Contact Compliance

As a manufacturer of primary packaging that houses delicate cosmetic, skincare, and personal care formulations, chemical purity and consumer safety are paramount.

• PFAS-Free Declaration: PPK certifies that all molded pulp fiber components (bamboo and sugarcane bagasse) and associated aqueous barrier coatings are formulated with 0% added PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances), satisfying stringent European and North American chemical regulations.
• Food-Contact Grade Materials: All primary inner pod resins, bio-materials (PHA), and refill linings are certified compliant with FDA 21 CFR and EU Regulation 10/2011 for direct cosmetic and personal care contact.
• REACH & RoHS Compliance: Heavy metals, phthalates, SVHCs (Substances of Very High Concern), and hazardous colorants are strictly excluded across all resins, aluminum anodizing baths, and electroplating lines.

5. Responsible Sourcing & 3TG Conflict Minerals Policy

PPK implements strict supply chain due diligence regarding Conflict Minerals (Tantalum, Tin, Tungsten, and Gold - 3TG) in compliance with Section 1502 of the U.S. Dodd-Frank Act and the EU Conflict Minerals Regulation.

• We mandate that all aluminum coil suppliers, metal stamping partners, and mold steel providers certify that their ores and metals do not directly or indirectly finance armed groups in conflict-affected regions.
• Annual CMRT (Conflict Minerals Reporting Template) declarations are gathered and maintained for multinational brand auditing.

6. Occupational Health, Safety & Cleanroom Standards (HSE)

Worker safety and hygiene directly reflect product reliability. PPK's dual manufacturing bases are audited under ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health & Safety) and BRCGS Packaging Materials:

• Class 100,000 Cleanroom Assembly: Primary cosmetic container assembly, pump actuator installation, and sterile packing take place within controlled Class 100,000 (ISO Class 8) cleanrooms with HEPA air filtration and positive differential pressure.
• Pest Control & Traceability: Multi-barrier pest control systems, lot-number barcode traceability across all raw material batches, and continuous environmental monitoring prevent foreign-body contamination.
• Workplace Safety Training: Regular fire drills, personal protective equipment (PPE) enforcement, and automated machinery safety lockouts.

7. Dual-Base Manufacturing Continuity & Certificate of Origin (COO)

PPK provides verified supply chain resilience through two sister facilities:

• Shanghai Headquarters: High-precision CNC mold tooling, R&D engineering center, high-speed automated injection molding, and luxury surface decoration.
• Rayong, Thailand Facility: Independent export manufacturing hub offering genuine Certificate of Origin (COO) documentation to mitigate U.S. Section 301 trade tariffs and provide European shipping route resilience. Both facilities share synchronized QC standards.
