Scientific Baseline Comparison

This calculator compares PPK's reusable outer casing system against traditional single-use packaging. The outer casing (65% aluminum, 35% plastic) is manufactured once and kept by the customer. All recurring refill cartridges are made from compostable, plant-based PHA or paper, containing 0% traditional fossil plastics.

  • Model compares a traditional single-use pack with a PPK system where the reusable outer case is made once and retained through the selected observation period.
  • Default material ratio: reusable case = 65% recycled aluminum + 35% reusable plastic; refill = PHA or paper-based compostable material.
  • CO2e estimate uses a simplified plastic-avoidance factor for directional comparison; it is not a certified third-party LCA.
  • For formal brand reporting, request a project-specific LCA using your exact SKU weight, material bill, supplier route and forecast volume.
